Sunday Morning Service

During lockdown.

See above and on our news page.

During normal times.

At Braunstone Baptist Church we host a range of services at different times throughout the year. Whether you're looking for more information about our regular Sunday Morning Service, Evening Services or other special events you can find out exactly when our next service is by clicking here.

Services vary in pattern, but we always enjoy worshipping God through singing a range of different music, traditional and modern, led by the worship group, We meet with God through prayer, reading parts of the Bible and listening to what God has to say to us through this, and the words of the person talking.

This service tends to attract more people as we run a junior church alongside the main service. The children and young people worship in the main service for the first 15 minutes and then leave for their own activities. They do a range of things, following a Scripture Union programme, which includes reading the Bible, acting out stories using puppets and playing games or cooking etc. All our children’s workers have been CRB checked.

We also run a crèche for babies and very young children during the service.

Most first Sundays in the month we have an all age service when the children and young people stay in the church and take part in the service. These services are indicated on the church calendar. This service is usually more informal and hands on.

Communion is served after the Morning Service on the Third Sunday of the month and any one who loves the Lord Jesus is welcome to take part in this service. If you are not sure if you want to do this you are welcome to just sit and watch what we do.

We use modern display technology for hymns, songs Bible readings etc, but we also have song books available, and bibles in the pews for those who prefer to use the written word. There is also a loop system in the main church.

After the service we serve tea, coffee and soft drinks at the back of the church and have the opportunity to chat with friends or get to know other people. The church, church hall and rooms are all wheelchair accessible.
